Howard Wing and Venessa
What an eventful weekend of weddings and functions I have had the honour to work on.Friday night I had a rare night off for a school reunion but Saturday I was at Soughton Hall, North Wales for the wedding of Laura and Sash,Mr and Mrs Phillips. Soughton Hall is a magnificent wedding venue set in the Welsh countryside where the staff really did make you feel welcome. My good friend Howard Wing was on hand to make sure the day and night really got of to a flying start…which it did. The music played was wide and varied through-out the decades…a good old party mix which earnt me a standing ovation at the end of the night.
Sunday saw myself and Howard Wing over at Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire for the wedding of Vanessa and Martin. What a venue, set on the side of a huge lake this purpose built Oak Barn really was breathtaking. Perfect for wedding photography as demonstrated here by my good friend and top photographer Paul Atherton. Paul has a real eye and flair to make that special one off shot really work. Included are a couple of Pauls pictures…I highly recommend him. Howard Wing was on hand again and really got the party going especially when he did Love Train. The night buffet was to die for…the biggest pan full of Paella you have ever seen! Even though England lost at football spirits were soon lifted with some party classics mixed in with some chart tunes that had everyone going. Vanessa and Martin were excellent hosts who I wish a very healthy and happy life together.
