Dee and Davids wedding at The Merewood Hotel really was a wedding to remember.
When I arrived I was just in time to catch the speeches, which were really very good. They included Davids son who told all the guests about his dads love for Elton John!
Howard Wing was on hand as Master of Ceremonies and to sing some classic songs during the wedding breakfast and at the beginning of the night. This included a brilliant Lets Go Fly A Kite moment with all the guests joining in.
After the cake cutting it was time for the bride and grooms first dance which was The Way You Look Tonight as sung by Howard Wing. Then it was time to get the party started. Dee and David had no extra night time guests so we were straight into it.
The first song that got everyone on the dancefloor was Gangnam Style by PSY…everyone was up young and old joining in including the bride! I was very impressed with the amount of “Dad Dancing” that was going on during the night.
The dancefloor was full all night right through until 1am where we finished with Never Forget by Take That with everyone joining in and forming a big circle around the Bride and Groom. A perfect end to a perfect day,as always Joseph Cobb and all the guys at The Merewood Hotel did an amazing job looking after Dee,David and all their guests. I would like to wish the new Mr and Mrs Barker a long and happy life together as husband and wife.
